CWA Bargaining Update for Friday, May 30, 2008
During today’s bargaining session Verizon presented their proposal on healthcare including the Medical and Prescription drug plans. The CWA/IBEW 2213 and IBEW New England bargaining team members questioned the Company on all aspects of their proposal. Additionally, the Unions made several requests for additional information.
Bargaining has adjourned for the day and is scheduled to resume on Monday, June 2nd at which time the Company is expected to provide additional information.
