CWA Bargaining Update for Tuesday, June 3, 2008

 

The CWA/IBEW 2213 Regional Bargaining Committee met today with Verizon in Rye, New York to continue negotiations. The Union raised critical issues that must be addressed if an agreement is going to be reached. The parties discussed the present state of labor relations and ways to improve on them. Later in the day bargaining unit work was discussed. The Union’s committee will be meeting tomorrow morning in caucus prior to resuming full negotiations with the Company.
