Becoming a Professional Chef
This program is designed to give you the essential skills needed to become a professional chef. Through our hands on training, you will receive personal attention guiding you on the specific skills that are in demand in today’s culinary arts field. Within this 40-hour course, you will learn the different aspects of working in the professional field, including team organization, time management, plate presentation, and working different spots on the cooking line. You will also learn how to prepare foods from different ethnic cuisines, including Italian, Latin, and American dishes. Learn different cooking techniques such as sautéing, grilling, roasting, steaming, and braising. By completing this course, you will gain real-world knowledge, and work in a professional kitchen which will prepare you for an exciting career as a professional chef.
